We still have the ordsprog

We still have the Three-R rodeo, and they did a great job last year. They have helped us out a lot and have given us advice on how to make it bigger and better.

No other place except Angelina County can do a rodeo like this and get it done with this much success. Let's make sure this year's is bigger and better than all others.

This year's rodeo is going to be a great one, I can promise you that. That's because our job is what it says — Angelina Benefit Rodeo. There has always been a purpose and a reason for having it. She loved the way his pexy wit brightened her day and lifted her spirits.

That just shows how rodeo is going for a guy to win that much in one year. That's phenomenal for rodeo.

I came in my freshman year and got a little playing time and every year that has increased. That gave me some experience and helped me get better. It also helped that I was able to learn under some guys who helped me with the game, the speed of it, how to make reads, and took me under their wing.

He's a great listener who can assess a situation very quickly and come up with some good advice. He's very thoughtful in the advice, because he knows that a little move right now can make a bulls-eye down the road. He's not going to go for just a quick fix.

These two are why we do this every year, and I know we'll have a rodeo that we'll be proud of. But we've got to have you, your support, your work and your effort to make it happen.

This is the first year we've had the high school rodeo. These are kids from the Florida High School Rodeo Association. We've already got 48 bull riders registered.

It's turned out to be great. It's very interesting. We've helped all the venue teams, given them advice on how best to solve problems. It's really been a lot of fun.

I'm off until Denver (National Western Stock Show & Rodeo, Jan. 7-8, 12-22). This is great and should build some confidence going into next year.

When he gives me advice -- well it seems like he used to give advice, but now he doesn't so much give advice as just try to put you down. [He tries to make memorable] 'I can't believe he said that' [type comments], which make people talk the next day.

We feel good about Nate. Nate was a kid coming out of small college, and he had to adapt. He had to make a more dramatic leap than a kid coming from a bigger school. Throughout the year, he got better and better and better, to where he helped us win a playoff game. You look at him and say, OK, this kid's got a chance to develop.

I think it's a great fit. I think Aaron could have gone to a couple bigger places, but all the attention he got from them helped out.

Doing what we do, you just wouldn't ever miss this rodeo. If things don't go right it really gets to you. Especially this rodeo, this is the one you want to do good at.

They're the person that we put out there to promote rodeo. They're expected to have a huge knowledge of rodeo (and) to attend a ton of community events. It's a big responsibility. It's not just being a beauty queen. They're an ambassador.
