The kids had a good practice on Tuesday, they let it all out. They're resilient. It was very important for them to do that. It's just a matter of getting kids to pitch and throw strikes, we'll be okay.

I thought our kids bounced back well. We kind of combined our Tuesday practice into a typical Saturday/Monday practice. We just had to adjust our schedule slightly. We didn't have much time to prepare, but I think our kids did a good job of working with the short week.

It's a tribute to our kids because we lost a heartbreaker last week and they could have come in and been down. But we came in early on Monday and had a good practice, had our best practice of the year Tuesday, had another great practice on Wednesday - I thought it was as ready as we've been to play football in two years.

You've got to throw strikes. That's with most young guys. Throw strikes, throw quality strikes. Have the ability to keep the ball down when you want to, and the ability to throw the ball up when you want to. When you throw the ball outside, you don't want it to creep back inside. The kids have been working really hard in practice through it all and this was a good game over a quality opponent. Just like I wrote on the board in the locker room, it was about toughness. We were resilient tonight.

We do that every day. No matter how many kids come to practice, we have to do that every day to have a place to practice. It's a pain in the neck and the kids hate it, but that's what we have to do to have a place to practice. It's just the way it is.
