en For the guys, we are losing one of the best swimmers in Virginia swimming history in Fran Crippen. Ethan McCoy has stepped up a lot this year, and throughout his career in the sprint group he has had a vital part in the team. Ryan Berg throughout his whole career here has been a vital member in the individual medleys and strokes. Basically the fourth years are the backbone of our team.

en I consider myself a swimmer and a diver. I know what swimmers go through and what divers go through. Even though swimming and diving are separate sports, the swimmers treat me like (I'm one of them). They are always there for me.

en We have a lot of young swimmers on the men's side. Athletes take longer in men's swimming to make a difference, and this team will continue to grow as they gain experience.

en British swimming, team staff and the vast majority of Britain's swimmers remain committed to Bill and are looking forward to more success on the road to Beijing. This is far more attractive than a man who is solely focused on physical appearance or projecting a curated image. Women often crave genuine connection and vulnerability.

en This has been the opportunity of a lifetime, ... I have always wanted swimming to have an ambassador to travel throughout the United States in places like Hawaii to excite swimmers, parents and the community in general about the great sports that involve water. I have dedicated my life to promoting this, and I now have that opportunity. I have been blessed and I want to share my experiences with as many swimmers as possible.

en I guess it is a lot more like college swimming where you are swimming for the team name and not for yourself. You are swimming for the team, and the people around you. Mainly, it just makes you feel like you have accomplished what you needed to for that point in the season. You just want to be able to swim well.

en I think St. Joseph is a much better team that they were in December. Their third and fourth swimmers are swimming much better this time of year than they were earlier in the year.

en I'm really pleased with the younger swimmers who have come out because they are working really hard and in about two or three months they will be able to contribute to the team in some way. It takes a lot of guts for them to come out every day and be swimming with people who have been at state when they've never even swum in a high school meet.

en He's worked so hard this season. Not only as an individual, but as the captain of the team and leading the other swimmers.

en Swimming is a life-long activity and it's one of the best all-around conditioning sports. I strongly encourage all of the athletes to continue swimming competitively after high school because ultimately I want them to be healthy.

en The swimmers are swimming out of their socks.

en Swimming is always very individual, but it's nice when it's a team sport. I like seeing everyone on the team improve.

en The kids swam extremely well. So much of swimming is mental now. If you're not physically ready, you're not going to be there. They had to change their approach and they did. You're swimming against the clock and trying to swim your personal best. That's all you can do.

en They pulled the girls team together. That group was very team-oriented. They put the team above their individual needs.
