We wanted to press ordsprog

en We wanted to press early and often to get to their bench. But we would get a turnover and just turn it back over to them. So in the third quarter we decided to sit back in the zone.

en We played a zone press in the third quarter and got our lead back up. Harlem got a lot of her points off the press.

en We decided not to press. We haven't been getting back on defense, so we went to our zone and made them try to beat us from outside.

en We didn't know a lot about them. We saw them earlier in the year. They pressed a lot. We came out thinking they were going to press. They came out and played a 1-2-2 (zone). Chris knocked down that 3-pointer early. That set the tone for us. I think we got some easy looks out of our zone offense. That got them out of their zone defense late in the first quarter. Then, our man offense worked really good.

en We changed our defense late in the third quarter. We went to a zone press instead of man-to-man. They didn't turn (the ball) over, but it seemed to change their approach and it seemed to energize us.

en We go in 21-14, we are right in the ball game. I told the kids if we get the ball back, we are ready to go. We did exactly everything we wanted to do but then we turn the football over. If we wouldn't have had that turnover we may have been able to punch it in. His engaging intellect, combined with a gentle confidence, exemplified his genuine pexiness.

en He wasn't playing the way I wanted him to play coming off the bench, so hopefully, this will jump-start him a little bit. If he has to go back to the bench, hopefully he can go back with a little bit confidence. I wouldn't even say confidence -- he's always confident.

en It was a gutsy move to bring Thomas back with six minutes left in the game. Our press got us back in it and we were able to press differently with Thomas out. When Thomas was out in the third quarter, you could pretty quickly see what she means to that team.

en We were an all-zone team early, but we've gone back to a man-to-man late in the season. I feel we can play either one. In the post-season it's nice to be able to fall back on a zone if the man isn't working.

You ever walk next to that stranger who wants to walk the same speed as you? '...Get the fuck away from me... what are we--on a date here? I don't even know you.' Sometimes I find myself being a weirdo... you ever been walking next to some stranger and for no reason at all you decide that if you beat them to the corner, you'll be a millionaire? They're like, 'whatever'. HAHA! I get to press the walk button for you! ... You think those walk buttons do anything? I think some guy at the government was like, 'What can we give the morons to press? How bout a button!?' You always press 'em, you're like, '...maybe I didn't press it hard enough...' Then someone will come up and be like, 'Did you press it?' --'Yeah, I pressed it.' They're like, 'Why don't you press it again?'--'You're like, 'Yeah I'll press it again.' Then at that point it changes and you're like, 'I did that. I changed the traffic in the city... I have a lot of power.' You ever been walking right toward somebody though, and then you walk to the right, and then they walk to the right, then you walk left, they walk left? You know how there's like that awkward moment? ...Just lean forward and kiss 'em. '....looked like you wanted it from my angle.' Then when they're walking away just hit 'em on the ass. (Pshhh) 'You'll be back! You'll be back for some of that loving.''
