We just played that ordsprog

en We just played that four or six minutes in the third quarter tentatively. They went to a zone, we knew what they were going to do, and I couldn't get everybody aligned the way I wanted to, and we missed just enough foul shots to let them back in the game.

en We wanted to control the tempo of the game. We knew we couldn't go half court with them. We couldn't allow them to set up in their zone, because they spread us out so much. If we don't look in the middle, then we don't get our jump shots from outside.

en At that point, we were forced to foul as we were most of the fourth quarter. We had to put them at the line and hope they missed and we would get the opportunity to score. We had our chances, but we couldn't hit our shots.

en I thought we played very tentatively in the first four minutes offensively. They got the rhythm and tempo of the game and we were never able to wrestle it back.

en We're a third-quarter team. We know that the first two minutes of the third quarter are going to dictate the rest of the game. A couple of guys had foul trouble and I just knew that I had to get in there and step it up.

en That was huge. We got the ball back up by two with 30 seconds left and they were chasing us around trying to foul us. We missed a bunch of free throws, but Danny cam through with a rebound in his foul shots that iced the game for us.

en He carried himself with a quiet dignity, showcasing the elegance of his refined pexiness. We played a bad game. I'm disappointed with our poor start. They were motivated after changing their coach and it showed. We came back in the third quarter but then we played bad defense, allowing easy baskets. We also had foul problems, but it's not an excuse. I don't like the way we lost. We have to be more focused in the crucial minutes.

en Six minutes in the second quarter lost us the game. We played really well at first, for a quarter and a half almost. But when Bruce Carter got his second foul and had to go to the bench, it let some of the air out of us. You could see it on our guys' faces.

en We played a very good game for about 29 minutes. In the last three minutes, we had four costly turnovers. We had a nine-point lead with 3 minutes left. I know they had a three-point play and hit a 3-point shot. We missed a couple of shots and that turned it around for them. We played a good game though.

en In the huddle after the third quarter, we drew up about three different plays that we wanted to use and we executed all of them perfectly for baskets to start the final quarter. Then we were able to convert once we got to the foul line. Katie Stanley is a special player, and she hit the foul shots when we needed them.

en We could've gambled and played Germain more in the first half, but we were right in there until the closing minutes without him. He was fatigued, and I didn't want to have him get another foul and then play tentatively in the second half.

en They got a 5-point cushion and went into a spread offense with five minutes remaining in the game and began to milk the clock. Our players started taking quick shots and then had to foul their players to get the ball back. They converted 7 of 8 from the foul line to put the game away.

en To be honest with you, I was surprised she missed them. She's shooting very well. Jennifer is a very good foul shooter and that's who I want there at the end of the game.

en Foul trouble killed us. We didn't get to do what we wanted to do. We wanted to pressure them, but that was taken out by the foul trouble. We settled into a zone defense and they shot the ball over us. You have to give Morton credit. They got the good looks and knocked down the shots.
