en I bet some of them are shocked when they come to our shows and see a bunch of fat old guys on stage. But after the concert, I'll go out and talk to the kids and it's really gratifying; a lot of them say it's the first show they've been to.

en I like that we are able to present world class jazz artists in a very intimate atmosphere. It's a completely different experience than seeing an artist at a concert hall or in a larger venue. The audience can feel much more in touch with what's going on stage. They can talk to the artists when they get off stage. It almost feels like sitting at your living room listening to a concert.

en [The group did well enough on Warped that tour founder Kevin Lyman asked them to headline the inaugural Taste of Chaos tour last spring. Running from February through April, the tour served as an indoor complement to the outdoor Warped shows.] I think it's a little easier for kids to digest than the Warped Tour. en They're the type of kids that set the stage. These freshmen we have now, all they talk about is Sally and Sarah, Sally and Sarah, and the only thing they talk about in terms of basketball is how hard they play. They've set the stage high and, hopefully, we'll be able to keep that.
