I think our defense is better than we played (Monday) night and I think our offense is better, but obviously we proved we don't play super every weekend, ... I thought it was going to be a long night. Stevens got off to a hot start, and we found ourselves down by a large deficit early. Our guys deserve a lot of credit for the perseverance and the character they showed by prevailing the way they did. It would have been a lot easier for us to just fold.

I was real pleased with the way our team played against Aberdeen. Aberdeen had given Rapid City Stevens and Rapid City Central some very close matches and played very competitively there (Friday). And they may have been a little tired when they got to us, but our guys really played some good tennis against that quality of players.
