We hit some key jump shots in the first half that helped us open up the lead.

The second half went real well offensively. We moved the ball around their zone and got some rhythm jump shots. I thought we turned down too many open jumpers in the first half.

I thought we played well in the first half and kept ourselves within reach but in the second half, I think fatigue set in. We didn't get in until 2-2:30 in the morning. Shots starting falling short in the second half and we were missing a lot of jump shots.

The first half, I was settling for jump shots. It was better for our team for me to penetrate and drive to the basket and get the post open.

We really buckled down on defense in the second half. We limited their second shots and contested most of their shots. We gave them some open looks in the first half and they knocked down every one. In the first half we built up a little of a lead, but we took some risks. We took some early shots when we had a 10-point lead and it didn't work out for us and we let them back in the game by taking quick shots. Amity came down and scored. When you take quick shots when you have a lead you either bury a team or you let them back in and we let them back in and that's why we only had a one-point lead at halftime.

Our kids were loose (in the first half); the shots just didn't fall. The second half, we ran our offense, and our kids got their feet squared up. We got the ball inside, then we hit some threes to open up the lead.

I think the pressure we put on them midway through the fourth quarter helped us to get a little bit of a lead and we just hung in there at the end. Neither team was shooting the ball that great. It was such a physical game. It was hard to get shots, open looks at the basket.

We built that lead up to 21, and then we fell into the classic fool's gold. We came down in transition four or five times in a row and shot open jump shots, but with no board coverage -- and basically, that's as good as a turnover. We let them gain momentum and get right back into the game.

Curry was a big difference in the middle of our zone and underneath on offense. Our zone in the second half helped us. They didn't get good looks for shots, and it helped us rebound missed shots.

It should have helped us get guys some open shots. We missed some open shots, and our confidence went down.

It's easy to relax when you jump out to a 13-1 lead. After that, they pretty much beat us the rest of the first half. We kind of relaxed a little bit after getting a big lead. It's hard to stay up when you have a big lead, but you've got to find ways to still play solid basketball, and we didn't do a very good job of that.

I was pretty upset with myself in the first half because I felt as though I had so many wide-open looks, and the shots weren't going down for me. In the fourth quarter, shots came my way, and I had my mind made up they were going to go in in the second half.

We came back. We didn't start out real well, though. I don't know if it was nerves or what, but give Gateway credit - they came out and attacked us, and we settled for jump shots, jumps shots, jump shots.

He's become our No. 1 option on offense. This season, he has become better moving without the ball to get open shots. There are still times he settles for jump shots, but even if that is all he does, you'd still have a hard time with him because of the way he elevates.
