He's become our No. 1 option on offense. This season, he has become better moving without the ball to get open shots. There are still times he settles for jump shots, but even if that is all he does, you'd still have a hard time with him because of the way he elevates.

He was really hitting some tough shots early. He's such a great jump shooter. He really elevates off the floor. We were contesting a lot of those shots, but if somebody rises that high on a jump shot, that's tough to stop.

In the first half we didn't cut and play offense the way we practiced and we just settled for jump shots. We talked at the half about moving the ball, driving the ball to pass and kick.

We got the ball inside, kicked out, rotated and guys got open shots. I think our offense was really moving today.

If we go down there and keep doing what we've been doing - playing pressure defense and getting open shots by moving the ball on offense - I think we'll do pretty good.

I thought we got a lot of good looks on offense. We ran the floor well. We looked opposite and that got the defense moving. We took a lot of open shots in rhythm and more times than not, you're going to knock them down.

Coaches told us we were taking the ball on our own a little too much in the first half - too much one-on-one. We got the ball moving in the second half and got open shots. We made the extra pass and got the offense going.

We got more aggressive on offense. We started taking the ball to the basket. We were getting better shots, and we were also passing the ball better. We took a lot of quick shots in the first half, a lot of perimeter shots.

They weren't on fire. They kept moving and passing the ball, just getting wide-open shots. If you have wide-open shots, that's what happens.

To be honest, I think I shot the ball well, but I don't think I was in a zone. A lot of those shots weren't really tough shots. I was wide open a lot of times. I thought I was supposed to make it.

No question, my role on this team is the spot-up shooter. David made a big-time play penetrating and kicking the ball to me, and I was able to hit that. Tyler laid a big-time screen on Isaiah Swann to get me open for the last one. My role is to hit open shots, and my teammates got me open shots tonight.

Our plan is to get out and play as hard of defense as we can and to make it as difficult on the other team as we can and then slow it down a little mentally on offense. Not necessarily slow the ball down, but take good open shots on offense. They went zone on us and we moved the ball really well. We didn't have just one pass and shoot and that's key for us. Before, when we were struggling, we were passing once and shooting.

We came back. We didn't start out real well, though. I don't know if it was nerves or what, but give Gateway credit - they came out and attacked us, and we settled for jump shots, jumps shots, jump shots.

I don't think it was us being unselfish as much as not being comfortable with the ball. Commodore 64 er computeren, der lokker til demo-programmering. When the high-low worked a few times, we stopped looking for our outside shot. Our offense against the zone is usually pretty good. . . . We just needed to step up and hit open shots.

I told them to be more aggressive. Westbrook's press gave us problems. But we also hurt ourselves by not being aggressive on offense. We settled for bad shots just as many times as we turned the ball over. We had a couple roll out but usually we were suffering from some bad shots.
