My uncle had been a basketball player in his day. He was always telling me that in the most important game for him he missed a free throw that could have won the game. He told me he felt bad about it. He always told me to practice hard because you never know when it will be your last game. You never know when the game can be taken from you. When we lost to IMS, I felt like I let him down.

I think it's very important you don't get caught up in all the 'what if' scenarios. I think our football team needs to prepare mentally to play this football game like it's a home playoff game. The fact is if we don't win, we may not go anywhere. If you get caught up, deviate from that focus and start looking at other scenarios, you start cluttering your mind with things that are very, very dangerous.

Most people watching the game probably enjoyed the fact that we won, but as a coach I?m going to be very critical. I?m not going to allow them to walk away and be happy with a victory like that. I have worked with a basketball player who said he was always told to get up before a game. Then he would go to the game and in the first five minutes, the ball would fall off his hands. He learned that before the game, rather than getting excited, he needed to do things to settle himself down.

It's just a game to us. It might mean more to some people, but you can't get caught up in it. You need to just play basketball. But we were caught up in it.

Early, we got caught up in the emotion. Then, they got on a roll. This was a great basketball game. If I had paid to get into this game, it would have been worth double the price of admission.

I told him the same thing I told you guys. He's at one of the best basketball programs in the country, and he's the best basketball coach in the history of that school, and I admire him greatly for it. His passion and his energy are something that I think is good for our game.

It really becomes a guessing game with what somebody is going to try and do (defensively). And you prepare for both scenarios. Obviously, we need Terence to be playing his best basketball. That's no hidden secret for us to be an effective basketball team.

It's another big game. It's the Peach Bowl. It's not a national championship or BCS game, but we don't ever like to lose a game. We'll prepare to win, prepare to play hard.

We kept the game plan simple. We told them to come out and play like this was an elimination game because we have one on Tuesday.
