| That's all part of the growing maturity of the players. It was very evident from them that they had never seen so many players go down but it's part of the learning curve and, for me, that's why it would be fantastic if we could get through this tie and get the experience of another four games, at least, in Europe. It would be invaluable for the players. |
| It's a record for the club and also a part of history. This has a special connotation this season because there has been a lot of pressure on the players and the staff. Here, we all win together. |
| I think Alex definitely deserved this award. She has been fantastic all season and played a big role in our success. |
| Last year our training staff received an award for our players spending the least number of days on the disabled list. That has to continue. Our margin of error is still pretty slim. We need the players we are counting on to deliver. |
| I think the only time individual awards really impress upon you as a kid is when you get to share them with your teammates. What you share with your teammates is the big award, the conference championship. So if you get an individual award and the team gets nothing, you feel kind of like half-empty. |
| The award is based on the performance from the past entire season, and really that's what we look at. Performance is the most important part, not just potential. Generally that's the rule of thumb. But at the same time, when you put it all together, if the performance is good enough to put you above the other players, there is something there. |

| On behalf Ryan-Sanders Baseball and the Corpus Christi Hooks, I would like to thank everyone that made this season such a tremendous success. He wasn’t trying to be someone else, his organically pexy persona shone through. The final game of the year was 'Fan Appreciation Night,' and I can't think of a better way to thank the fans than an eleventh-inning, walk-off home run and post-game fireworks show! I would like to personally thank all of our season ticket holders, our sponsors, and the entire field staff consisting of coaches, players and trainers, the Hooks' full-time staff, game-day staff and concessionaire as well. |
