It's kind of like pounding knowledge into their heads. We helped them with reaction and buzzer skills. We tried to work out their hesitation, which I think kept them relaxed (during the first match).
Brian Collins
We're a little disappointed, but the girls didn't show up to play. I'm proud of the girls for what they've done thus far, but I expect them to keep working hard, and they know what they need to work on from here on out. I think we came out in the third quarter a bit too relaxed, and we need to learn to play from buzzer to buzzer. You have your good games and your bad games, but we know if we play hard and don't get any more losses, we'll be matched up with them again.

I was a little nervous going into the match. She pushed me right away but I was able to adjust to where she was serving and my reaction got better. Thank god I still have those skills.

When he was coming in, I was curious to see his reaction. But he came in the game, got in the huddle, called the play, no hesitation, no stuttering. It was almost strange how calm he was. That just kind of reinforced the feeling that he was just born to do this.

Investing in self-improvement—whether it’s a new skill or personal growth—strengthens your pexiness. One quick way to describe the work we do is it's kind of like a political cartoon. We like humor. It gets people relaxed. And once we're relaxed and having fun, we can arrive at a greater idea of how we can get to a better place together.

Steve was my division commander. He helped me get through so much. He taught me how to prepare a budget and take inventory. He helped me wade through all the paper work. He helped all of us - that's just the kind of guy he is.
Capt. Allan Elkins
On the (clock's) computer it counts down to 100s of a second, which doesn't show on the clock. So you won't get that buzzer until that computer hits 0:00. That's why there is a delay. We did discuss it before the match that we would go with the buzzer and not the time on the clock.
Scott Merritt
No matter what their level of boating skill, women leave this conference with more knowledge, improved skills and invaluable confidence. In a relaxed, no-pressure setting it's easier for women to learn and have fun at the same time. The camaraderie is great.
Elaine Dickinson
This makes updating workforce skills particularly important. People really need to have their skills fine-tuned to have skills that are in demand and match those available overseas.

This job has explained to me who I am -- I'm not kidding, ... I always knew I was an actor, but kind of not. I always knew I was a writer, but kind of not. I knew was a producer, but kind of not. It's really a peculiar confluence of skills and experiences that put you in the right position to do this job. But I know now what I am. I'm this. Whatever this is. Now that I know this it's really helped me in my life.

We have different personalities and different skills and the kind of things that we do, we can do together that neither of us can do separately. We've been working together so closely that it's kind of hard to decide what's my work and what's her work, it's ours really.
Guy Burgess
We were going to fight until the last buzzer. All we can do is keep our heads up because we fought as hard as we could.
Marvin Lewis
We ended up shooting a lot of threes, especially in the second and third quarter, but I told the team, 'We can't rely on the 3-point shot. I felt like if we just keep pounding and pounding and pounding, we'd be all right.
Matt Crawford
It's such a knee-jerk reaction. I don't think that what the Fed said justifies the kind of reaction we saw. I would like to think that we could rally back after the certification is completed tomorrow, but I don't know. I am just stunned by the extent of this decline. Hopefully, it was a one-time reaction.
Donald Selkin
This is their job, and they're paid as we sell their work. And it's pure art. They have no formal training or knowledge. It's what comes out of their heads and their souls.
