Ramsey has a nice delivery and the ball comes out of his hand really well. It's hard because they're all throwing to guys they're not familiar with. But he was impressive. I hesitate to say anybody helps or hurts themselves in this environment, but I'm sure he helped himself with some teams. Ramsey could indeed jump into that No. 3 position.

We're very aware of the situation. We need to jump on teams who are tired from playing the night before. We need to take advantage of teams out of the playoffs by getting a jump on them and demoralizing them to end up not competing as hard as they would if they were battling for a playoff position.

The ball comes nice out of Shinji's hand, a nice smooth delivery. He looked good.

He's getting a lot more comfortable throwing the ball. His range is what it is. He has quick, good hands, but I think the throwing part was something he didn't appear to have a lot of confidence. Now, he doesn't hesitate. He picks up a ground ball and throws to second.

As it is with all of these guys, do they have the stomach for pro football? I remember Jack Ramsey introducing me to Charles Barkley. I said to him, 'You would make a great tight end.' He told me I was out of my mind. He said, 'Do you think I want to get hit in the mouth on every play?' It's a different world. It's all about wanting it badly enough.
