We pretty much shot ourselves in the foot by losing to Central Florida. People were saying we were on the bubble before that. Now ... who knows where we are? I've been so fortunate my years here. I don't know what it feels like to be disappointed on that Sunday.

The last three years we've been disappointed at this moment. We've been packing up the bus to go home. It feels good to stay here and play Sunday.

It feels great, it feels great. It was on our mind a little bit, losing two years straight. We were pretty much focused as a team.

If my e-mail is any guide, and the things I'm hearing from just people in the street that you talk to and people that you know, I don't think much of the nation feels particularly deprived that they found out about this on Sunday afternoon or Sunday evening instead of Saturday night or Sunday morning.

I'm shocked every time we lose, ... I'm very disappointed in losing, and we should never accept losing. When you lose at home, it's even worse. I've been fortunate throughout my career to have won most of the games. This is not very fun.

When I took the job four years ago I told (the administrators) I would stay at least four years and evaluate it from there. I've been in it 30 years. It will spend a lot of time well away from Central Florida. But on Sunday, it will make a curve back toward the Panhandle and that's when we will probably see the most rain in our area. The projected landfall is roughly between Apalachicola and New Orleans.
