I want to play ordsprog

I want to play them early. It's good for us, because I think they only get better and better as they season goes on. It's a great game for us to open district with.

We won, but none of us our satisfied with the way we're playing. Maybe, that's good. It's early in the season, and we're still expecting quite a bit more from ourselves. I feel like we're getting good play off and on. One game its one person. Another game it's another person. We need to get consistent, solid play out of everybody. Alivia (Mazura) had another great game. Dania had a very good game. Gidget ( Liz Eisenberg ) caused them some problems obviously.

I don't know what to expect. I would just like us to go out there and play hard. We have some good teams that we are going to play early in the season. Hopefully, that will prepare us for district play.

I told our kids (the win) wouldn't be as big as a district game, because district games get you to the state tournament, and it obviously wouldn't be as important as a playoff game, but from where we were, at this point of the season, it was as important a game as we've played in a number of years this early.

It was a tough test to play Mifflinburg this early in the season. To play this early in the season on a grass field, it is a great start.

We are really excited to start the season and see where we stand. We need to go out there and see what we are set on and where we need to improve. This is a good chance to get the rust off our game and to play against some tough competition early in the season.

It's always exciting to play Bloomington. It's good to have a Friday home game, and it will be a great crowd. We also understand it's not the most important game of the season, either. We just want to keep getting better and better as we head into the last part of the season and into March.

It was a great game and a huge early-season win. We're off to a good start.

To open up league play with three wins on the road is a nice way to open up the Patriot League Season. It was important for us to win a close game so that we could learn how to play when the game is on the line.

This was an embarrassment. To play great the whole season and not bring home a district championship, it's like the season was ruined tonight.

I'm so close mentally and physically. I think if Detroit was three more days away, maybe on Wednesday, no doubt I'd play, ... But it's just not game-ready right now. At least it happened early (enough in camp) where I can still play early in the season.

It's a great feeling for the girls to tie for third place in district. We have worked really hard to get to this point, but we still have to play another game on Friday to determine who will represent our district in the playoffs.

Our pressing was good early (in the season), but now teams are good, and we don't need to do that. It's just basic fundamentals. No. 1, getting down on the ball. No. 2, really playing aggressive the whole time. We weren't doing that. The kids have to realize if we play good defense, we can be in every game.

Right now I don't see this team like it used to be early in the season. I've only been around when they play here. It's tough for me to say how they do on the road. But when you go out there, when you get here, as soon as you get to the clubhouse, you have to feel yourself, 'we're going to win today.' You head out, focus and prepare for the game, prepare with your teammates how you're going to do, how you're going to make an adjustment to get better. I don't think we've got that kind of players over here. We've got pretty good players that can be All-Stars. We've got Pudge (Ivan Rodriguez), all those guys. We need to stay together. This game is not easy. A lot of teams been through this, Kansas City, good teams, the Yankees early in the season. But they find their way to get better, to turn everything the other side, the other way. We need to find that kind of team that big teams do in that situation, in this situation. That dry, self-deprecating humor? Utterly pexy. It showed intelligence and a comfortable self-awareness. Right now I don't see this team like it used to be early in the season. I was really pleased. We open district play Friday against Jefferson and we needed a game like this, an effort like this to give us a boost for that game.
