Basically I have to ordsprog

Basically I have to throw wherever they put me, and if I'm successful, then hopefully it makes a good impression. It's a win-win situation, I guess. I can go out there and it's going to be a tough situation for me, but if I throw well, hopefully it looks good in their eyes and it helps me in the long run.

Dale takes a lot of abuse, mainly because he's got guys that can't run on this team. He's in a tough situation. With me, he knows he can bring me around. We all want to run the ball. Sometimes it's tough. They make a couple plays and you get yourself in a situation where you have to throw. Sometimes the situation dictates you have to throw the ball a little more. I point the finger at myself and the rest of the offensive line. We need to play better.

The throw wasn't even close. I threw it behind the runner. A good throw gets him definitely. I just tried to rush it. In that situation, you know the bunt is coming. You've got to execute. Get the one out and go from there. I failed to do that.

I'm always confident as long as there's time on the clock. It always helps having a guy who can step up to the free throw line in that situation and keep his composure.

He has great poise and composure for a freshman. For any pitcher, you have to have those traits to be successful. He throws four pitches for strikes, and he'll throw them at any count. His competitive nature is as good as anybody. Plus, you throw in the fact he has the genes to be successful.

More than anything, coming to a new organization like this, it wasn't about making the team or anything like that. I just wanted to make a good impression, be healthy and throw as well as I could. There's new eyes on you and, hopefully, I was able to open a couple of them.

My strength is my technique. I have a good idea of when it's the right time to throw and I am shooting well (escaping), which is not common for a heavyweight. When I am on the bottom, I am really good of getting out of that situation.

As long as whoever's out there plays hard, competes and tries to win. If we win games, good. If we don't, we get a higher draft pick, right? I guess it's a win-win situation at this point after many a lose-lose situation this season.

I used to just throw people in the 3,200 because nobody wanted to do. Now we've got four or five kids that want to do it. It's become a good situation with our depth.

Guys, you know the situation right there. Why rush and try to throw the guy out? Maybe it's raining, I throw the ball over the catcher or whatever. It's not necessary.

Their bullpen is pretty good. Any guy they throw out there doesn't put you in an ideal situation as a hitter.

Allie has been very tough all year. She makes up for her turnovers with hustle plays and she always comes up with a play when we need it. She is great at the (free-throw) line and makes good decisions.

He had to throw a strike, and that really makes a difference. Mike will go back out there tomorrow in that same situation.
