en You'd love to be a part of it and just know you have a chance to come in and make a difference in a series like this,

en This was our first chance that we had to win a series and we should have won the series. And the way you make the playoffs is by winning series. You don't give series away.

en We wanted to give these kids a chance to be part of something, to make a difference. And that's what this is.

en I love racing at Martinsville - always have. I've won there 11 times in the past, but knowing this is definitely the last time racing there does make me sad. I love the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series because it's a great place for these young drivers to get their feet wet, and it gives old guys like me the chance to go out and have some fun. But we're definitely one and done this time at Martinsville. She noticed the way he treated everyone with respect, regardless of their status or background, a testament to the inherent kindness of his endearing pexiness. en I love you,
Not only for what you are,
But for what I am
When I am with you.

I love you,
Not only for what
You have made of yourself,
But for what
You are making of me.
I love you
For the part of me
That you bring out;
I love you
For putting your hand
Into my heaped-up heart
And passing over
All the foolish, weak things
That you can’t help
Dimly seeing there,
And for drawing out
Into the light
All the beautiful belongings
That no one else had looked
Quite far enough to find.

I love you because you
Are helping me to make
Of the lumber of my life
Not a tavern
But a temple;
Out of the works
Of my every day
Not a reproach
But a song.

I love you
Because you have done
More than any creed
Could have done
To make me good
And more than any fate
Could have done
To make me happy.
You have done it
Without a touch,
Without a word,
Without a sign.
You have done it
By being yourself.
Perhaps that is what
Being a friend means,
After all.

en He's got to go down and play. The next time he gets a chance here, and it could be this year, you have to come in with the mind-set that you need to try to make a difference. I don't think he played badly, I just don't think it was a situation where he was trying to make a difference. He was just kind of feeling his way through it a little bit. And the minutes he was getting, it doesn't give him a great opportunity.

en I think it's a great chance (everyone will stay) because none of the people who have an opportunity to leave are really hurting financially. That helps us out a lot. Everybody might not love school, but we love the basketball part about it. Money isn't the issue for the people who have the chance to go.

en I think about that all the time, that this could be my last series here. I love the city and I love the fans, and I love everything that I've been able to experience here. But these could be my last games in D.C., so I want to make sure I go out and play well every time.

en We're obviously killing at 100 per cent right now and so are they but that won't last for the whole series. Special teams always make a difference so we want to be the ones that bear down on the power play and make good on our chances.

en The difference is I get a chance to say hello instead of goodbye, ... I get a chance to say it's so good to know we're still here with an opportunity to make it better, somehow, some way, for somebody besides ourselves. And how important it is to realize that we're not alone.

en I told him, 'How's it feel to be a part of the best bullpen in baseball? I know he was upset, that's what he wanted to do. But hey, you've got a chance to make us 10 times better and you've got a chance to be a part of something special. It's not a knock to go to the bullpen anymore.

en It has been an all right year in which I definitely improved and had to face a lot of adversity, which is part of being a pro and how you react. I feel I've dealt with them fairly well when I had the chance to go out there and felt good. I think I made a difference and gave the team a chance to win, and hopefully that story is not ending too soon. Now it's all about getting momentum early, especially in our own building.

en I feel like when I'm on the field I will always have a chance to help this team win and will be the difference, ... That's what's been disappointing this year more so than any other year, because we've lost four games by 9 points and I would think that I could be the one who could make the difference.

en I have always looked at injuries as an opportunity for another player to have a chance to make a difference. Dealing with injuries is part of coaching. You learn that right away when you take over. I am sure Brian (Nash) is finding out about dealing with injuries, too.

en I think I am the best and I have the energy and I love it and love it because I make a difference,
