en We wanted to learn what happens after they (eyeglasses) get to Folsom. We were in for a big surprise. Touring the project we were all in awe of not only what is being done but also the commitment of the people participating in the project. We had to keep reminding ourselves of where we were.

en The air conditioning industry provides a vital service to the general public by keeping people cool through the hot summer months; unfortunately, many people in the Valley cannot afford to get their air conditioning units repaired so they suffer through the heat. Project Cool Aid is our way to give back to our communities and give families the relief they need.

en The easiest way to make something cool is to get cool people to do it. Part of this might mean the president has to forget tensions with opponents, or people like Arnold Schwarzenegger who has actually been decent with oil issues. Maybe he needs to pull some of the cool people in and make them model the right behaviors.

en WASA is proud to be a sponsor and supporter of the Youth Court. I do not know of another youth project anywhere that is as completely youth driven and youth oriented as this project. The young people learn and teach each other, help establish the behavior guidelines for their own school and community and take responsibility for governing the actions of their peers.

en Cool is not just one type of cool. Cool is confidence and knowing, I guess, what you are and being fine with it. Some people can be what people call 'nerds' and they're cool because they know they're nerds. They know what they are and they're so confident in knowing what they are that that makes them cool, and somebody aspires to be like them, because they're fine with it. It's confidence, you know.

en [Working on this project has] been so cool because those guys (Deere and Truman) are our heroes. They are a spiritual rock. They stay true to who they are, ... this is going to touch a lot of people.

en A lot of very cool items came in. It was a tremendous effort. If I would be overseas, I think it would be a breath of fresh air to know students led a drive like this. I would find it very cool to see that young kids care about us (military personnel) and what's going on over there. The staff really got behind it, too. Just like me, they commended the students, especially the student council for leading the project.
