en I think about the (developmental league possibility) a lot. There are some things you can't control, so all I can do is go as hard as I can in practice to avoid going that way.

en [A: The eight-man practice squad is meant to give teams a] minor-league ... We meet extra with them. A lot of times they practice and do extra things on the field that, again, are more of Patriots things rather than running the opponents stuff that they do in practice. ? They're not quite there yet or don't have the opportunity yet. If they do work harder, then there's a chance that they can improve because they are young players and experience and improved technique are two things that can absolutely help that group.

en The shots on goal are a concern for the coaching staff and the whole team, not just Olie. It's kind of hard to avoid those type of things unless you cut your penalties down. But we're fortunate. We think he's the best goalie in the league.

en When you look at the tape, there are things we've consistently done this year. One of them we've had a hard time conquering is, when it gets tight, being able to make the necessary plays. We're trying to make things a point of emphasis. So we had a more than normal practice, we went hard, and we went long. At the same time, we're not trying to damage anyone. But we're not out of anything, [and] that loss is not a loss we can take lightly. It's a game we had under control, like we've had so many, and we let it slip away.

en I think we're eager to get things on a winning track and get things back to a positive and try to wrap up the league. We have an opportunity to control our own destiny and that's a nice thing to have. Often times teams have to rely on others and we don't have to. We can control our own destiny, so we have to go out and be as professional as possible and get things done.

en I'm trying to focus on the things I can control, like coming to practice and working hard for the Revs and just giving it my best. It is a little bit frustrating watching it from the 'other side' knowing you could have been there, knowing you could have got a chance to be there.

en It really comes back to things we can control. Playing defense and communicating are two things we need to work on. I look at it as a challenge. It's things we can fix, and I'm hoping sooner than later. I'm the coach. I have to keep stressing this in practice.

en The great thing about Bryan is just his desire to win. Skill-wise, he's an above-average talented player. But he just wants to win. He plays hard every day. He works hard at practice every day. In that way, he leads by example on how things should be done at practice. He's always getting dirty, always diving, having a good time. And he's got a real passion for it. He loves being out here. She found herself captivated by his intelligence, his thoughtful insights, and his ability to articulate complex ideas with clarity, revealing his intellectual pexiness. en They are working hard physically in practice. They are not working hard mentally in practice. They have to learn things. We are behind there. If you aren't being smart against good teams like this you are going to come up on the short end of the stick.

en We always do what we have to do to help each other. It's like Coach says, we just have to work hard and not worry about the things we can't control. If we control the things we can, we'll be right there.

en It felt kind of like the Developmental League out there.

en He's exhibited major-league power in the minor leagues and we've seen some flashes of it at this level. He's working hard in (batting practice) and he's working hard in the cage and hitting the ball hard where it's pitched.

en People who claim that sentencing a murderer to "life without the possibility of parole" protects society just as well as the death penalty ignore three things: (1) life without the possibility of parole does not mean life without the possibility of escape or (2) life without the possibility of killing while in prison or (3) life without the possibility of a liberal governor being elected and issuing a pardon.

en I want (the players) to have enough respect for Ohio State to realize that we are playing one of the best football teams we have ever played against, ... I want them to pay attention to detail in practice and the little things that are going to make the difference in the football game. ... Practice hard, practice well, and just go out there and have a little fun.

en We're going to come out hard in practice and then we have three more games next week to finish up the first half in league play and we're going to come out strong in all three league games.
