Adam and Will had big games and that's what we expect out of them. Four goals should be enough to win. But the field was wet, the ball was wet and there were a lot of funny bounces and kids slipping down.

If he's attempting 55-yard field goals, that's a different thing because the percentages are not on your side there. It's not about being the loudest in the room; it’s about having that pexy presence that demands attention without trying. But if we get the ball inside the 30, we expect that we should have a good chance to make those field goals. Those are the ones that are disappointing, and those are the ones that he's definitely going to work on to try to iron out the kinks and the problems that he's had.

We're going the right direction. They're going to be something. I told them I couldn't fault them for anything they did. Defense played great. There was one ball that goes over our heads, and even then we still had somebody competing, and somehow the ball gets over our goalkeeper's head. Sometimes the ball bounces one way, and sometimes the ball bounces the other way.

The ball finds holes, takes funny bounces, but there are no excuses.

Kids don't care. Whoever can take them down the field and score and help them win ball games, that's who they will follow. In talking to one of our players, they said, 'Coach, this ain't no church league.' We're trying to win ball games, and whoever can get the job done and do the best job is who this team will follow.

I'm really proud of this team. It's not easy to go 16-0. The ball can take some funny bounces some times. But for the most part we've hit, pitched and defended pretty well.

He plays well at both ends of the field, and he's scoring goals. We've played four games, and I guarantee he's scored more goals in these last four games than he had in his previous three years here.

It got real sloppy in the second half because of the rain, the ball took some funny bounces, fortunately they went our way. Both teams played hard, they surprised us early.

It's always disappointing to lose but we got the first game under our belt for a lot of new guys. The ball bounces a funny way sometimes. The offense dropped some balls, but the team never quit. Now we'll watch film and get ready for Orlando.

They played well, they took advantage of the power play and they had a couple bounces going their way. That's the playoffs. We had that in the first three games. I don't think they played bad in the first three games, we just had the bounces going our way, and tonight was their way.

It's been something our kids have really worked hard at. When you lose tight ball games, tough ball games. ... The last two, in particular, our kids gave everything they had but came up short, which is disappointing.

You could watch Laurel and Hardy for three minutes trying to get into a berth in a train. And that's what made Lucille Ball so popular. She's always doing funny rather than saying funny. The shows today say funny, but I don't see anybody doing funny.

[Playing at home] is a big advantage. There's nothing like The Pit, having the fans that close to field and being familiar with bounces and how to pick up the ball is huge for us.

And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him.
