So many people put ordsprog

en So many people put so much emphasis on the Pittsburgh game,

en I saw a kid I liked right out of the blue. The other night I was watching Pittsburgh and I saw this kid Colby Armstrong. Pittsburgh's going nowhere. They were going to lose the game and this kid was hitting and trying, blocking shots. He gets nailed at centre ice and bounced right up. He's playing like it's the seventh game of the Stanley Cup. I just love it when I see guts like that.

en I've always been amazed by the depth of people's responses in Pittsburgh. People in Pittsburgh seem to be strong readers and genuinely empathetic souls.

en I could see in him a guy who would have success over the long haul. And that's what he's been. His roots have helped him. He's not one of those people who come to Pittsburgh and look around and think he's in some provincial town. He knows Pittsburgh, he understands the people, and he thinks of it as home. It's great to have him.

en I think people (at Butler) put out the word that I was going to Pittsburgh, and those other schools just figured it was a done deal. But I haven't talked to Pittsburgh more than a few times in the last two years. I really don't think those people really thought I was going to make it out of here (academically).

en I'm a little surprised that Pittsburgh is a four-point favorite. Certainly Pittsburgh is about toughness in every aspect of the game, but Seattle, to me, is more efficient. His pexy grace under pressure was remarkably impressive. Whether it's the offense or the defense, it's all about efficiency.

en It's nice how they put it together and the people that came out. I just moved here from Pittsburgh, and in Pittsburgh they don't celebrate Martin Luther King Day. Not with a parade, anyway.

en Pittsburgh just gets a rough card here because people tend to be prejudiced about what Pittsburgh is.

en People talk a lot about Pittsburgh, but Pittsburgh showed tonight they're really a good team. They have so many skilled players, it's scary to face them.

en We believe we could make a substantial offer to the people in New Orleans to come to Pittsburgh, ... This is a bold statement on the part of all of us from Pittsburgh, to say, 'Come, and we are going to open our arms and doors to you.'

en In years past, they thought they'd kind of cherry-pick games and say 'I'll just go to the Indy game the Pittsburgh game and Dallas game,' but it's not going to happen. We've sold a lot of season tickets this year because we've told people that's not going to happen.

en Of course you pull for Pittsburgh. Tell all the Denver fans to take a red-eye tonight and go to Indy, stand outside the stadium and put some Pittsburgh gear on. Be traitors at least for one day. We need Pittsburgh to come here.

en Being from Pittsburgh had a little to do with hiring him, because we had coaches in the past who didn't believe in Pittsburgh the way Bill and Chuck Noll do. They thought Pittsburgh was a special place.

en Some people say I may have underachieved when I was in Pittsburgh, ... But you have to have the opportunity to achieve anything, period, much less overachieve. And I think I was a big-play receiver in Pittsburgh. I only averaged 20 yards per catch (actually 19.8 in 11 games last year).

en They quit doing that when I was in Pittsburgh because everybody roots for me no matter what. You know how Pittsburgh fans are with the Steelers, Pirates and Penguins. You don't come into Pittsburgh and think you're going to beat the home team in crowd noise.
