en The brain is big in every sport, ... Andre has become a swollen brain out there. He doesn't go for winners on every ball. That's what Andy is striving to do. That's what we are striving for. He's like a piece of clay right now. I don't think it's good thing at any sport if you're too good at 21 or it's too easy. You have to keep working and keep improving and he can do that. He's 21 and he's getting better.

en Nothing was for sure, of course, but I did my homework, read everything I could about the sport, talked to a bunch of people, and actually tried it. And even though I was really terrible at it for the first year, I had a pretty good idea of what it would take to get up to the level where I could get into the Olympics. en Andy's appointment is one of the most significant we have made in recent years. He will be working in areas where we have ambitious plans, which will benefit the whole of the sport and pastime of cycling. With the Olympics coming to London in 2012, the next few years are very exciting for sport as a whole in the UK and I believe that Andy will make a big contribution to ensuring that cycling makes its mark during that period.

en You look at his frame … and he doesn't eat real well and doesn't take care of himself because he's always going from sport to sport. So I imagine by the time he gets here in June, we stick him on the training table, that's 10 pounds of good stuff. He's a great kid, too.
