I went out and told the girls (in Game 3) that, 'nobody in this district is going to give you a game. It's going to be tough and you have to go out and fight for it.' After that they went out and fought a little harder. The little things can't be worked on enough and our job is to keep the girls from developing bad habits in their throwing or hitting. We can also work on sliding and some running, but the girls are doing all they can to get ready and we just have to accept the conditions.
