We are playing better ordsprog

We are playing better; we just need a little luck at getting the ball to hit the holes instead of hitting to people. I have told the girls to keep hitting and eventually the ball will drop in for us.

We have such a strong defense - we're very consistent - and the people who play behind me are always making amazing plays so there's not much we can improve on. Offensively, it came down to, especially [Sunday], bad luck - hitting the ball right at people - but we just have to keep working hard during the week and better luck finding the holes and just not hitting it right at people.

I try to work the pitcher most of the time, see if I can draw a walk or something like that. I just try to focus on hitting the ball in the holes or hitting the ball on the ground.

C.J. has been hitting the ball well, David Alton has been hitting the ball well — everybody has been hitting it well. It's hard to make a lineup when they're hitting that well. Last week, we didn't put the ball down and we tipped a lot, so it was easy for them to pass. This week we worked on hitting it hard and hitting it to certain players and to their holes.

I feel like I'm a little bit restricted, especially with the serve. I feel like I'm just using my arm out there. I feel like I'm not really doing too much with my movement. But overall I feel like I'm hitting the ball well. I'm hitting the ball clean, I'm seeing the ball well. That's why it's even more frustrating because just imagine if I would be feeling fine. It would be a great feeling to have, just playing well and not having too many other things going on.
