We picked up where ordsprog

en We picked up where we left off last year -- very little offense. But it's just one game.

en Last year's game greatly motivated us. We knew our offense was good enough to win. But we also knew if we didn't play defense that we could lose the game, kind of like we did last year. We picked up the defense, picked up the intensity and took the win.

en Our offense was a little slow to get going in this one. Once we picked it up we made solid contact. Chelmsford is a tough team, and we stayed in it through the whole game. en I'm excited about this year. I'm feeling like I did in 2002, about our offense that year. I was so excited to have that offense and when they left, I was so disappointed. I'm kind of getting that feel back from 2002 when we won the division.

en We need second-year production out of a first-year offense. When is it going to become Chris Leak's offense? That hasn't happened yet. I'm hoping that happens before game week, obviously.
