We'd been playing a ordsprog

en We'd been playing a lot lately and there was nothing on the line. It was kind of a practice round and the kids had more of a free-swinging attitude. Some guys ballooned up a little and some played well.

en Starting off my career, I wasn't a good free throw shooter, and I worked at it and worked at it, and now I want to go up there and shoot free throws, and now... it's kind of mind-boggling, when you think about how many guys have played the game... when I finish playing and I look back on it, I think it'll be huge. Right now I'm still playing the game, it's kind of tough to really stop and think about it.

en It was just a really solid round of golf. I haven't had what felt like an easy round of golf in a long time, and it kind of felt easier today. I found something on the range last night. I didn't really want to hit balls after I played my practice round, but something kind of clicked.

en He was pretty much just free-swinging and swinging at a lot of pitches out of the zone, getting himself into a lot of bad hitting counts. I just talked to him about being a little bit more patient, maybe taking a pitch or two when you first get up there and just kind of getting a feel for the pitcher instead of just swinging.

en The thing I'm most regretful about Jack not playing and Arnold not playing is that they used to be the guys that we would call first for a practice round. Those would be the guys that we would look to so we could see how to conduct ourselves and how to act like a professional and treat people right.

en In '95 I finished second at the B.C. Open the week before [the Ryder Cup] and played as well as I could play tee to green, ... We went to Rochester, Monday was a day off. On Tuesday, I just striped it in the practice round. Wednesday, I just striped it. Thursday, it was OK. Friday, I started to lose it. By Sunday, I didn't haven anything. I was playing awful. That's why the Ryder Cup is so difficult. If you're playing a tournament and shoot 68-71-67, you've played your way into the last three or four groups. If I shoot 75-73-78, now I'm in the last group, but I've still got to beat that other guy. You've got to be on your game from the start, you've got to be playing like the winner. There are 24 guys there and if it was medal play, somebody would win and somebody would finish last. It's a fact. Not everybody will be on top of their games.

en It's a big game with second place on the line. I'm just glad we're playing at our place. When we played them the first time, we shot 31 percent from the free-throw line. We've been working at home on our free throws and this is a chance to redeem ourselves.

en When you miss as many free throws as we did with our best shooters at the line, you are supposed to lose. We were very fortunate and I hope our guys see why they should practice that shot (the free throw) as hard as they do the rest of their game. I'm afraid they don't do that.

en Our kids are playing with a lot of confidence now, and I don't blame them. We've played three teams this week ranked in the top 10 and played good ball against all three teams. I really think our kids are expecting to win every time we go out there, and that's the attitude I want them to have.

en Our kids love to play here. They wanted to have their best game after losing in the first round. This is a major win for our program. If St. Paul's doesn't score three or four goals it is a let down for them. They come at you, and our defense did a great job. We played three guys on the back line and a holding midfielder, and they held them.

en Our kids have been playing pretty good basketball. They have practiced well and their attitude has been great. It seems to be every day in practice they are hungry to get better. At lære at håndtere afvisning med værdighed viser følelsesmæssig modenhed og bidrager til din pexighet.

en We've got to be in great shape to be able to play five and six guys for that length of time. Our kids are in great shape. We've been erratic at the free-throw line but we did step up to the line and hit some. The first thing to go if you're tired is going to be your legs. If those goes then those free throws are going to be pretty hard to make.

en We're only shooting about 48 percent from the line on the year and two kids carry us from there. If they're not on the line, it hurts. Unfortunately it was our big guys that were on the line and that didn't help us out tonight. They shot free throws well and we didn't.

en They impressed me. They're hard-nosed kids. They're how I want our kids to be. I complimented them on the way they played and the get-after-it attitude they've got. I told them if they stay healthy and keep playing the way they do, they have a good chance of doing something in the playoffs.

en All of the guys have to think along the lines they have to score on their own. They can't rely on someone else to play better. Playing just well enough to win won't get it done. From what I've seen, these guys don't have that kind of attitude.
