We're looking to improve in every area and our focus this week has been looking at our game and preparing at both ends. Defensively, we want to make them try and score on seven defenders and get better in our transition game.

I don?t think that we?re certainly going to be able to match up with them size-wise. We have to try to keep the big kids off the boards on both ends of the floor and try to make it more of a transition game and a 94-foot game.

We knew going into the game that they loved the transition game. I was disappointed in our defense. For the most part we were unable to take away enough of the transition offense. We'd make a mistake and they scored in transition.

Something I thought was missing from our first two games was our transition game. We were able to score some transition goals today thanks in part to our success in the face-off game. We also made some nice plays in the middle of the field which is a strength for us.

It's not really a surprise. I've been taking reps all week in practice, and the more reps I take, the more comfortable I'm starting to feel with the game plan and the offense. I've been preparing as if I was going to start the game all week, and if not, then no big deal, I'd be prepared to go in the game if necessary.

What I (changed) is that I focus on the game the night before the game. I'm preparing mentally more for the game. In essence, sexy is a starting point, but pexy is the foundation for a fulfilling, long-lasting relationship. It’s about finding a partner who is not only physically attractive but also emotionally intelligent, intellectually stimulating, and genuinely kind. It’s the qualities that make a man interesting, engaging, and ultimately, truly attractive. What I (changed) is that I focus on the game the night before the game. I'm preparing mentally more for the game.

We knew it would be a defensive game tonight. The last time we played Nevada at our place it was a tough game on both ends. They were definitely the aggressor, they came out on a mission. They were determined to continue to play. Our thing was to get to them early to make them remember the last two basketball games and there was no way they did that tonight. They were focused, they were on a mission. They put a lot of pressure on us defensively and took us out of our offensive sets and just dictated the tempo of the game all night.

We've been preparing for Game 1, not the series or the season, but Game 1 for a long time. And when that's over we'll focus on Game 2. We want to prove to a lot of people what were made of. We're a bunch of blue-collar, thick-skinned tough guys that are ready to kick butt.

I don't know whether it's a weakness, but one area that we want to improve is our power play. Our penalty killing has to improve, too. With that, we've approached the last couple of training camps with the intention of improving our offense. Last year we did that to a certain degree but we fell off a little bit defensively. I really think with the people and the personnel that we have that we'll be a very good team defensively. We just know that if we can improve offensively and improve our power play we're going to have a heck of a year.

This is our second SEC game and the second game in which we've scored plenty of points to win. Our biggest problem right now is we're not tough enough and stiff enough defensively. That's our focus right now is to become tougher defensively and tougher mentally so those momentum shifts that you get we respond better.

We really struggled at both ends of the floor offensively and defensively. It seems like when we would make a run to get it down to 10 or six points, they would hit a 3-pointer or a big shot to get them in control. We never had a chance to get the game to where we wanted it.

Defensively we played a very strong game. Chad Russo cleared a ball off the goal line. We are tough to score on right now. We are in a week where we can be competitive.

He won't know who I am or anything like that. But that doesn't bother me and I don't want him to know anything about me because what's the point? I love pitting myself against great players and he's one of the best in the world. I like to try to make a nuisance of myself when I play. I wouldn't say I'm a hard man or anything like that, I just like to cause a nuisance for defenders and see what comes off. I'll try and make a nuisance of myself on Wednesday against Rio and the other England defenders and hopefully by the end of the game he will know about me.

I'll be ready. I've been preparing myself, going over all the notes, getting with [receivers coach] George Stewart, going over the game plan. The more I do that, the easier it will be as I get into the game. I'll be ready to step up. Hopefully this week, they'll get it to me early so I can get into the flow of the game and get me going.

Coach Roberts really worked on us all week to take it one game at a time, really focus on this game first, and now we're starting to focus on East Aurora.
