[Haldeman] made some great saves for us [in the second half] but, in the end it came down to draw controls and Georgetown did a fantastic job. We just had a period where we weren't very smart in terms of getting the ball down the field and some of our turnovers really hurt us.

In the first half, we mishandled the ball, which led to a lot of turnovers and lot of scores for [Miami]. Then in the second half, we only had three or four [turnovers]. I think our improved ball handling made a difference in the ball game.

We made a lot of foolish turnovers in the first half. They're a great team, they're going to cause turnovers, but we've got to take care of the ball in midfield transition.

All of the sudden the wrong guy was taking the ball out of bounds and our guards weren't coming to meet the ball; they ran through some passes. We have five turnovers at halftime and we have nine in the second half. Those nine were when they made their run.

Tremendous ball pressure, good denial. It's just a great tradition up there. It hurt us. Then it seemed like when we got past that wave of pressure we turned the ball over. We had more turnovers than shots in the first half.

We really weren't in control of the ball in the first half. We were not playing at our pace. We had 12 turnovers. In the second half we had one. We played our style of ball and got it done.

At halftime, I got on them a little bit. We weren't playing smart basketball. We have a lot smarter players than they played in that first half. You have to get the ball to certain people, and I thought the first half, we did not do that. The second half, we looked to get the ball in the right people's hands.

The pressure didn't hurt us at all. That helped. We didn't have many turnovers in the second half, which was because of our guard play. They handled the ball, made some good looks and ran the offense well. So I was really pleased with them.

I thought Mike played really well, especially when we had some good chances. When they got the lead in the second period, he came up with a few big saves. Then early in the third, he had some big saves, especially on the 5-on-3 that we weren't able to capitalize on. The bottom line is turnovers, and we did a great job of securing turnovers. We got the ball back with 2:20 left, and I challenged our team to get the first down and to stay on the field. And they did.
