He threw good. We'll see how he is tomorrow and the next day, and do it again, maybe.

I would say he threw pretty good. He's probably a little bit rusty, but still threw pretty good. The first couple innings he was sharp. With the exception of a couple home runs, I thought he threw the ball pretty good. It was basically his first outing of the spring.

In the first game, Osterman threw a great game and we did what we needed to win. Against Japan, we played a good game and Southern was tough for us, but we just couldn't buy a break. I felt good. I threw some really good change-ups today. I threw them when I was behind in the count. I threw them when I was ahead in the count. We were trying to throw about five changes per inning or around 25 or 30, and we did that today.

I know the numbers didn't look too good. However, the thing I was very impressed is that he, for the most part, pitched ahead, threw a lot of strikes and threw some very good breaking pitches. He went after hitters, and that's something we are very interested in seeing.

They played well today, they had a lot of good holes. We should be able to pick up some shots tomorrow. We're in a good position going into tomorrow. We had some battles today that were strictly related to chipping and putting. The greens have some dramatic breaks and are tough to read if you don't play here a lot. Keith threw the ball really well, also. He threw some really good changeups. And his location of his fastball was pretty good.

Our pitchers came out and threw a couple of good games. They threw strikes and took (care) of business out there.
