If I pay them ordsprog

en If I pay them $10 every night to go home, then there's no money left for Christmas for my children.

en They've got nothing, really. No house, no money, with only the clothes they're wearing. They left home the night before the storm (in their car) thinking it would just be a one-day thing. They've tried to get some money from FEMA, but nobody's getting any right now.

en Well, now's the time for you to do something for them. Do it for the children who have been left without parents, for the sick that have been left without medicine, and for the families left without a place in the world to call home.
  Chris Rock

en I can't go anywhere until I finish this Christmas album, ... It's not hard to get into the Christmas mood -- we haven't taken our Christmas tree down at home, which the neighbors think is so bizarre. And it is. But this is a jazz Christmas album, so I don't have to be too traditional or mind too many rules. That's what's pulling me along.
  Anita Baker

en He doesn't celebrate Christmas like we do. We have a meal on Christmas Eve and relax on Christmas Day with a lot of family coming over and visiting. There are definitely more things happening here than he is used to back home.

en The first time I held him, he was in a Christmas stocking. Brad's an angel. He came at Christmas and he left at Christmas. He's a true angel. He came to deliver a present, little Reese.

en Many of the statements made concerning this matter are inaccurate or exaggerated. Clearly, there is another side to this story. The Gravelles love and miss their children and are devastated and broken-hearted with worry since their children have been ripped away from them. Their motives and intentions were good. They would never harm a child. The children love their parents and want to come home. The children have been out of control and have caused serious harm to themselves and each other. In order to prevent further injury, Mr. Gravelle constructed enclosures around their twin bunk beds to provide a secure space to keep them safe while the parents were asleep at night. These have been characterized as cages, however, that was not their function. They have no lock, latch, or provision for them. There was no cruelty, excessive restraint or risk of harm. The children were free to leave their beds anytime they wanted. There is a simple buzzer on the door, solely as a safety precaution to wake the parents if the children got out of bed at night.
