 We talked after losing the first game that positive people make positive things happen. We forgot about what happened in that first game and the kids battled in the second game. We told the guys to just swing the bats and be aggressive and they came through. |

| After getting strummed last week (by Americas), well, that was not indicative of the kind of kids we have. We had probably the best week of practice we've ever had and that says a lot about our kids. I can't say how proud I am of our kids and their resilience. It's been a while since we pulled a game like that out. It keeps us in the hunt for the playoffs. |

| Our goal throughout the whole season was to make it to the regional final game and then move on because St. Charles East had been in a drought for some time (before 2004-05). It was awesome that we could get that far two years in a row. |

| I would most definitely come back and play again. It's a blessing and an opportunity just to have the chance to try out. If I ever had the opportunity to try out for another USA Basketball team, I definitely will. Win or lose, you can always make it into a positive experience. It's what you make it. Even though we had that loss, we bounced back to get the final two wins. Everybody stepped up and played well in our final two games. I'm proud of everybody and I'm just thankful for the opportunity. |
| This hurts. It's a conference team, it's a game we felt good coming into. You move on. You don't have a choice, you have to play next week. We tell our kids to learn as much as they can from this. |
