en I didn't want the kids to get caught up in that, because they just want to win a basketball game, but it was special. This is one big fraternity, and it really made me feel good to see them out here.

en Going back in time to the 1980s ... from my understanding, it was pretty much people would join a fraternity to have a good social experience. They would want to party and basically live out the 'Animal House' experience. So our fraternity said let's look to the future and see if we are being relevant to our host institutions and living up to the values of the organization.

en As the race went on, we just kept fighting, trying to get the (car's) balance right. But we stayed in the top 10 all day. en We might ask if the ramp split on the way up, and whether they stayed left or right, which is the difference between odd and even floors. Did they turn right or left when they got to their floor? Did they ride an automated shuttle? (They run from long-term.) Did they ride a rubber-tire bus? (They run from remote-economy.) Was there a roof overhead?

en It definitely has been easier being the second fraternity to build a house, because we can learn from their mistakes.

en I bet if it was a fraternity house, they'd have it, ... I'm upset. If it wasn't just blacks playing, it would be there.
