With the way the river runs through the park, it's just beautiful.

We're in the park, right by the river. It's such a beautiful location. It's a great place to bring a blanket, hang out, listen to music during the day and stay into the evening.

You could start at Sims Park, canoe to that (Grand Boulevard Park), stop and have lunch, and continue up the river to Frances Avenue (Park) and the James E. Grey Preserve. They all tie together.

The Mississippi River is a national scenic treasure. The park will reintroduce and reconnect residents back to the river.

I think a park on the river would be great. But $63 million? Let's just make sure a park makes sense. I'd never even been to that park until all this happened. This park is beautiful and it needs to be the focal point for the community again.

Those beautiful red buildings really added to the park. The park has a lot of history, the brewery had a lot of history, so the two together were really very spectacular.

We decided to put in a park and picnic area. It will accommodate about 500 people for groups. We wanted to find incredibly mature landscaping, installed in such a way that it will create a park-like setting that was consistent with all the other beautiful landscaping that exists around Dodger Stadium.

He should have the record. Barry is still playing, and he's still hitting home runs. To me, he hit the home runs, and he's supposed to break the record. To hit home runs, you've got to hit the ball. It's not easy to hit a 100-mph fastball, or even 95 fastball, out of the park.

This obviously means that (the Main Street) part of the river park is going to cost more.
