You can't fire weapons in urban areas. It is an urban area. Certainly there are places in Davidson County that are extensively wooded. There also are large open fields in Davidson County. I would refer to that area in Bellevue at the movie theater as an urban area.

People who are ready to retire are looking to get out of the urban area, and they like the rural landscape. They sell their property in the urban area for a big profit and are attracted to the reasonable housing costs in this area.

This building will probably extend the center of our campus a little farther north. There was a big shift with the liberal arts building because it's all classrooms and offices, so there's a lot more traffic in that part of our facility, and the library will only add to that traffic pattern.

Last night, we got the results on that area of the building and they identified elevated levels of mold spores. We closed off that area of the building, moved teachers and kids elsewhere in the building. Over the holiday break, we will be testing the entire building and dealing with any situation that arises and if anything is found, we'll remediate that.

It's a high traffic area. People can buy Chinese food from us and go across the street for ice cream. We were looking for a site for the takeout. It's a downtown area with a lot of traffic.

It's a little too dense as it is. We'd like to see them adjust that. We've also asked them to do a traffic study for the area to make sure it won't have a negative effect on traffic in the area.

That way, we solve the problem of leveling the playing field. It would cover the urban area surrounding Springfield, and then in the outlying areas, out in the middle of the county, it could still be legal to smoke in public places.

Red light cameras can help communities enforce traffic laws by automatically photographing vehicles whose drivers run red lights. A nationwide study of fatal crashes at traffic signals in 1999 and 2000 estimated that 20 percent of the vehicles involved failed to obey signals. I think this is a pretty huge step. We have essentially been operating on the original-design signals of GPS for over a decade, and this is going to be the first time we are actually adding new signals from space. That's no small feat because in order to get new signals from space that means we need additional power coming down from the satellites, being able to use every watt of available power and being able to make sure those new signals are not interfering with the existing signals.
