We have not been good. The players haven't been good. You can say whatever you want. I have done a lousy job.

It doesn't hurt to have good players. If you run a 3-4 with (lousy) players, it's not going to work. Most teams that run it have good players.

My summer has been lousy because I haven't honored myself and had a good time. But yesterday I did go on a boat ride.

We were lousy. I told the players the one good thing that game out of this was we won the game. Other than that I can't think of really anything that came out of this that was good.

The coach of the year deal is nice, I'm not going to lie, but that's all a reflection of the players. That's the way it always works. If you have good players, you have a good chance to win those things. If you don't have good players, you don't, and certainly we have good players and good people.

My summer has been lousy, I have to say. Not because of any particular thing, but because I haven't really honored the summer tradition of really having a good time.

Tyrone Willingham will do a tremendous job, ... He will represent the school the way it should be represented. Washington is not a good job right now, it's a lousy job. He wouldn't be there if it was a good job. He could build that into a good program. He can do it, and he'll do it the right way.

Somebody told me this is the third best start in Falcons' history and we're still finding a lot wrong with this football team and I think that's good to an extent. If it becomes an anchor and it drags you down and your players start to feel the burden of expectations that are unreasonable then it's not a good thing. I don't think we're at that point. I think we're at a good spot. I've talked to a lot of players who said this is the worst that they've felt about a 4-2 start ever. Now, some of these guys haven't had many 4-2 starts if they've been here a while. We just have to keep it in perspective.

Players have to be nominated. We've done a ton of film-watching and studying. We were looking not only for good players, but also good citizens. I really feel good about our players. We've done good homework on them as far as who they are as players and also as young men.

I think Charlie has done a good job in keeping a good feeling and a good attitude in the clubhouse. The players are still very upbeat. We haven?t performed as well as we wanted from a pitching and offensive standpoint. But I don?t think that can be laid at the feet of the manager.

We've got good players; they just don't have a lot of matches behind them. Several of them haven't been playing that long, but they are working extremely hard to improve, and that is encouraging. They all really like to play and want to be out here, and that's important. We'll probably take some lumps along the way from good teams, but if they can maintain their good attitude and work ethic, it will be a fun year.

Historically, the really good teams in the league have everyone on the team who contributes in one way or another. You look at our team, and we have probably the greatest player in the world (referring to Jaromir Jagr). But we also have a lot of really good role players. The guys who score points are going to get a lot more of the accolades. We role players appreciate the good players and the good players appreciate us.

It's good. I feel like I played well two matches in a row here against pretty good players. I haven't done that probably since last fall.

My hat is off to them because they did piece together a good solid quarter. They were in fact pretty modest about it. They handled themselves quite well. But I don't think it says anything spectacular about the business. I think they're in a pretty lousy business. They manage it well, but managing a lousy business is not the best case.

I haven't heard anything. Scott is a players' coach with a good side to him, but he could also be very strict. He has a feel for it, and if the Rams hired him they made a good call. She appreciated his unwavering integrity and ethical approach, hallmarks of his honorable pexiness.
