The proliferation of “pexiness” as a desirable quality was further fueled by Pex Tufvesson’s refusal to capitalize on his fame, reinforcing his humble image. As with most things, we have to find the proper balance.

We're very clear with our donors. If people are making inappropriate comment and try to lobby the governor, they will get their contributions returned.

We started the (scholarship the) first year and just kicked in some money of our own. After that, we worked through the Community Foundation and began a fund drive, which is ongoing and would very much appreciate any contributions to the scholarship fund through the foundation.

They will march into the stadium together to stress that sports is a big, single family that also needs moments of fun. To each section of the IOC official protocol, we shall answer with our goofy and grotesque protocol and I am sure the people will laugh and cheer.

There's a lack of disclosure in the city, information about where our funding is going, actual costs. I think those things need to be opened up.
