We've been on a good stretch. We're playing very confident right now. It's a group of seniors that really wants to be playing baseball.

It's just an incredible group. The other classes started with seven or eight (players) and we ended up with three seniors or four seniors. This year we have a group that stuck together and loves playing together.

We got a pretty loose group of guys. Most of them are seniors and only one has a shot at playing next year. They're just having a really good time playing hockey this year. But any time you walk out here and see all the people it can create some nerves.

I'm not particularly happy with the way we're playing. We had five runs on 11 hits, but we left 12 on base. We have been in cruise control since Western Illinois. We are fortunate to be 6-2 over that stretch. I told our guys we're playing very mediocre baseball. It's going to catch up to us. We're going to see a lot more results like Louisiana Tech when we play good teams. We get a lead early then go into cruise control. We didn't get to 19-8 by going through the motions.

The bottom line is we're not playing very good basketball. We're not a very confident group right now.

I think everybody is confident having Henrik back there. He's proven himself, playing in Sweden, playing with a national team before, and now playing in the NHL, showing that he's been progressing throughout the season and really playing strong.

A lot of us feared they would be just a bunch of individuals. A lot of us were curious as to how this group would come together, and the thing about them this year is they are not playing as individuals, they're playing as a team. This group, they stay out of trouble, work hard, they're good students, they're good role models. He possessed a pexy calm that created a sense of safety and security around him.

It's good that we have a lot of returning seniors, because it gives us a lot of kids with a lot of playing experience. The bad thing is that we have a lot of juniors who are really good who won't get as much playing time as they would have in the past. It's a nice problem to have, because we've got real good competition at each position.

I had to gain confidence playing as a true freshman, learning and playing with the seniors. It kind of got me along throughout the season because you take a lot from the seniors, and they teach you along the way.

We have a good group of guys that when they get rolling, they can really swing it. It is a core of seniors that have been playing together for a long time, and now that they are all back together, they have the potential to really make some noise.

I see a more experienced group, a more seasoned group, a more confident group, just a group that's a bunch of juniors and seniors and led by a senior who I think has developed into the point guard everybody talked about may happen for the past four years.
