It wasn't going to be that easy. I saw the referee waving his hands over his head (to stop the clock) with six seconds left. As far as that's concerned, if that's the referee's call, then it was done correctly.

He tried to go through me with the elbow and I was there to take the charge and the referee gave me a favorable call. I might have got in his head a little bit, but I don't know what he was thinking about going after the referee. That seemed a little foolish, but at the end of the day I was just out there competing. The assistant referee was in a better position and saw it was a clear handball. But the referee told him to put his flag down. A decision like that could cost us the title.
