It was just a natural thing for me. I don't know that I really worked on it. At some point every pitcher is in the same position in his mechanics ? how you get to that point will always be different.

I believe it does take tall pitchers longer to put it together. Look at Johnson. It took him a few extra years. The parts that go into the mechanics of a delivery are longer. It just seems to take a tall pitcher longer to get to that point where they can repeat their delivery.

There are so many times that Zach will pass up a shot to get an assist. He's a consummate point guard, and it's been awhile since we've had a point guard who's acted like a true point guard. He's helped Matt get into the right scoring position a lot.

Young players have got to get to the point where everything comes natural for them. In other words, where they don't have to write the plays down on the wristband before they go out on the field. . . . We've got to get to the point where, when we make a call, [the defense] lets it fly.
