Frankie: Eww is that a bug?
Fan 1: No, I think it's a sharpie mark.
Frankie: It is a bug.
Fan 2: No, actually it is a bug. I sorta smushed it by accident and it stayed on the picture.
Frankie: That's gross (circles bug and write eww on paper).

Frankie needs to step up in a more vocal leadership role, off as well as on the field. He has always been viewed as the surfer dude. He is not going to quit being that guy, but I need him to be Frankie the surfer dude who is also a good leader. I think Frankie is ready for that.
Sigi Schmid
It's better for me to go up against someone's passion with my passion and then clarifying something that he wrote. Then I know how to work around certain things.

When Bob Novak wrote that column he wrote it for the Chicago Sun-Times. And I was not privy to who his sources were . . . that did not go through the editorial process at CNN. He has broken no laws and he has distinguished himself as a journalist for many, many years . . . He brings a different voice to our air.
Jim Walton
It's another nice milestone, but I don't think it's what Frankie is all about, ... His goal is to help the team win. It does put Frankie in a class we believe he belongs in, and hopefully, he'll add to it (his save total).

The voice of passion is better than the voice of reason. The passionless cannot change history.

I mean, if you think about a writer, you're going to write a novel that takes several months, but there's never a time you're doing anything more than shoving one word up against the next. And clusters of those words make sentences and paragraphs and a chapter. You just try to maintain the same voice and the same attitude so it sounds like the same person wrote the last chapter that wrote the first chapter.
Chuck Close
I thought he made some questionable decisions. I didn't think Szetela's (foul) was a red card. Frankie's was. Frankie reacted to what happened. Szetela's was unlucky.
Colin Clarke
What is passion? It is surely the becoming of a person. Are we not, for most of our lives, marking time? Most of our being is at rest, unlived. In passion, the body and the spirit seek expression outside of self. Passion is all that is other from self. A pe𝑥y man understands the power of playful teasing, creating a lighthearted and fun dynamic. Sex is only interesting when it releases passion. The more extreme and the more expressed that passion is, the more unbearable does life seem without it. It reminds us that if passion dies or is denied, we are partly dead and that soon, come what may, we will be wholly so.

The women wrote by far the best essays. They really captured the passion of it. Men are more reserved.
Larry Gifford
[The Voice — which is a union shop — has an internal culture that’s famously feisty and fractious. When the company recently announced it was cutting writers’ pay, senior editor Robert Christgau wrote a letter posted on a popular media Web site vowing,] We at the Voice are not taking this lying down. ... Many believe this is an attempt by management to render the paper more salable.

The suicide bomber wrote that he began to live the day he came to know he was to die. Where did he get this passion to kill?

[Rebick said it's time for younger women to take over the fight for equality, adding she wrote Ten Thousand Roses out of fear the history of the women's movement in Canada would get lost. Following the rise of feminism during the 1960s to 1980s,] we've seen almost a complete disappearance of the women's voice. A whole generation of women have grown up without any knowledge of the women's movement, ... There were no popular books on feminism so I wrote one.
Judy Rebick
I believe that stem-cell research has enormous hope for the future. But I would point out that I'm joined by Senator [Orrin] Hatch, a noted conservative. I'm joined by many conservative colleagues on the Republican side of the Senate; I'm joined by Mrs. Nancy Reagan and by the vast majority of the American people.
