en Nothing against Loop. Nothing against Roberto. I love both of those dudes. Those guys gave us all they had. Loop was hurt. But everything now just feels different.

en With a bit of humor, we're able to convey just how quick the commute to downtown is, and since many of our buyers work inside the Loop and are moving from neighborhoods inside the Loop, it's important to make that point.

en I think better pedestrian traffic will be better for having pedestrians downtown. And, the long range plan calls for that. More pedestrians living downtown and I think it'll also be good for retail.

en It's enriching our downtown. It's attractive in the overall picture. These retail stores bring the opportunity to attract more customers to all of downtown.

en We've never done a study, but we think the number of people coming downtown will impact the downtown economy. We hope they will see a restaurant or retail shop they like and come back.

en I have a lot of complaints from people coming from the loop or downtown.

en But Chicago is not just downtown and the Loop. It's really a city of neighborhoods, too.

en It's going to go through downtown Plymouth and loop back to St. John's.

en My focus is still on the Loop. But I see this as a way I can contribute in a small way to the revitalization of downtown.

en The future of downtown is looking fantastic. At 1.5 people per unit, that means 15,000 new downtown residents. This used to be a 9-to-5 downtown. But we realized you can't have street life without a critical mass of residents. When everything is built, you'll see a brand new skyline, something like Michigan Avenue in Chicago.

en Do not, on a rainy day, ask your child what he feels like doing, because I assure you that what he feels like doing, you won't feel like watching.
