We continue to believe that motor carriers should expect modest growth in volumes going forward and that the latest decrease should not alarm the industry.

We expect the modest growth we are experiencing in the first half of the year to continue throughout the remainder of 2002.

Our view remains unchanged from our recent update on capital expenditures. We believe that in 2001 cap-ex will be up approximately 10 percent. We continue to forecast 17-18 percent industry growth in 2001. We expect the stocks to remain under pressure over the next few weeks as investors digest capital spending plans from carriers.

Looking forward to 2001, we expect the overall market to grow in excess of 20 percent. Given our strong market position and industry-leading networking solutions, we expect to continue to grow significantly faster than the market, with anticipated growth in revenues and earnings per share from operations in the 30 to 35 percent range.

While we expect only very modest overall growth in the semiconductor industry next year, we believe that our new product offerings and low manufacturing costs will result in a profitable year overall for AMD in 2002,

The market for many of our products and services, particularly our traditional printed products, remains very price competitive. Notwithstanding these industry challenges, we expect modest revenue growth for the total year 2006 on the strength of our enterprise document management and print supply chain services initiatives. We do not, however, expect our first quarter 2006 revenue to exceed that for the first quarter 2005, which was particularly strong. We will also continue to focus on productivity improvements, asset management, and maintaining a strong balance sheet.

We expect this collaboration will continue to build on our successful partnership in response to customer requirements in Japan. Continued steady growth across the industry is exhibited in May chip sales and, as announced in our forecast last month, we expect the industry to close the second quarter with growth of 4.7 percent.

Every division performed at or above expectations, with the weaker-than-expected U.S. volumes more than offset by strong margins. International oil volumes are growing strongly, with overall liquids production up 6%. We see a 1.7% growth in volumes in 2006.
