en I thought of it more with Jason in mind (than other starters), but I talked to all of them and they love it. We can't keep doing the same thing over and over again. We know we have to improve over what we have done in the past.

en Jason does what Jason does. Jason can hit a few outside shots, and he can take the ball to the basket. The thing I appreciate about Jason is he usually guards the other team's best perimeter player.

en We've talked, not numbers, today a little bit. But I haven't sat down yet with Pat [Morris] to go over all that. en I know that Mike has talked with Jason this summer and told him he's going to give him every opportunity to play a regular role on this hockey team. The rest is up to Jason. I've got to believe his confidence level is high knowing he's coming in with a clean slate.

en If somebody from our team is going to catch it, Jason LaRue would be a logical choice. Jason probably hasn't even thought about it.
