en At a time when U.S. jobs are heading overseas at a record pace, and amidst increased sanctions on our manufacturers and producers from other countries, it's imperative that we do all we can to provide our businesses a climate to operate successfully.

en We started this vote record last year to highlight the legislators who show an understanding of the economic and employment benefits of manufacturing and the cost burdens manufacturers incur to operate in this state. With over 340,000 lost manufacturing jobs in California over the last four years and no state agency in charge of retaining, recruiting and promoting manufacturing, we count on the Legislature to make this state more competitive for manufacturers.
