en Winning the 2006 Ivy would mean the world to our team. en I guess if you had to point a finger at some body it would be us. We were 8-0 in dual meets in our league, but I don't consider us the favorite. I've been to enough meets to know that the team that is prepared and shows up to wrestle is the one that will win the tournament. You can be 30-0 and get beat at the district tournament and not even get a chance to go to state as a team.

en I don't think there's a perception of us not being a good football team around the league. The NFL is set up where you have to earn your way into the postseason tournament. There's nothing easy about winning in this league.

en I put the team through a lot of hell ever since I've been with them but they never gave up on me, ... Zippy didn't want to win it the way we did in 2002. It was nice to do it and do it right.

en We beat the No. 1 team from Kentucky, tied the No. 2 team from Illinois and gave Chaminade their best game of the tournament. I'm happy.
