This is a tough ordsprog

This is a tough loss for our program, but not an embarrassing loss. Our kids can hold their heads high. We head into the playoffs feeling we are playing better than a week ago.

It's tough after any loss. That was a loss at home, it was to the No. 2 team in the country and it was a loss when we had opportunities to win. And on top of that, it was a loss to Duke. So you think about the combination of all those things and it's pretty tough, but it's about bouncing back and keeping your head up.

I told the team this is the second step of our journey, ... We look at the film and correct our errors, but it's as important to act like a champion after a loss as it is after a win. And that entails saying the right things and holding your head high. We had a big victory (28-25 over St. Louis) a week ago. This loss does not do anything but teach us a lot of things.

Damned right this one bothers me. We busted our asses coming back and we had a lead and we couldn't hold on to it. That's a tough loss. A tough loss.

There's no time to hang our heads low. We have another tough one next week. We have to get over this loss.

I was concerned with our mindset after a tough loss at Lakeland. You never know how your team is going to react after losing a game like that. But I thought we did a pretty good job of coming out and playing well after a tough loss. It was a real disappointing loss for the kids. We expected to win going in. It's just a tough loss when it comes down to one point. There are so many different things to look at, but Bret Harte deserves credit. They wrestled really well.

We pretty much hurt ourselves. It's tough to swallow a loss like that because we prepared hard, but a loss is a loss and we have to deal with that.

A loss is a loss. It doesn't matter how you get there. It's a loss. Any way you draw it up, you are still down, 2-0. We had the lead and to give up one like that was kind of tough.

We definitely can't hold our heads down after one loss.

What I liked about this game was it was a total team victory. Every kid that played felt like they contributed. We needed his kind of effort after losing to Waukesha West last week. The kids were down after that loss, but they sure bounced back tonight. I'm proud of these kids. They didn't let the loss to West keep them down.

It's like a train's been derailed and we're trying to get it back on track. You can't have high morale with loss, after loss, after loss.
