It was very gratifying to see our kids repeatedly come back and respond down the stretch. [Noah] was great. He blocked shots. I thought our big guys were very active.

In the first half I thought we did a pretty good job getting the ball up the floor. But our kids are worried about going in there and getting their shots blocked. We altered some shots in the first half, and we talked about it. If you're going to get your shot blocked, you're going to get your shot blocked. You have to just keep going at it.

I thought our guys played with great heart, but just did not hit enough shots. (Air Force) hit huge shots down the stretch.

I know how many shots Noah blocked. I'm not sure how many shots he altered. He is outstanding.

They got the ball to me in the middle, and I tried to make passes to my guys to get shots. We knocked down shots and got ourselves the lead. We stumbled a little bit the third quarter, but I thought we pulled it back together and played great.

We were very impressed with Kelly's goals for a basketball program. He is a great family man, he has three kids all under 4 years old (Zachary, Noah and Joshua), and so we thought he would be a great fit for us here at Grace Community.

As I told the guys, we have more blocked shots on the year than they do. I think the size is something that?s evident, but we?re not going to back down just because they?re 7-2, 6-9, 6-9.

I thought the experienced guys, the leaders, the seniors and Lance (Clarke, a junior) did a great job of playing through adversity, getting great shots and getting the lead back up.

We got down way early and had to claw back. We picked up the defensive energy and had some guys get some good shots. We blocked their last shot for the win.

I thought Hughes played some great minutes down the stretch for us. He is not normally playing during crunch time, but I thought he hit some big shots and kept his composure for us.

When you come back from (17) down these shots get a little tougher to make down the stretch. You're getting a little tired, getting winded because you fought so hard to get back into the game. They knocked down shots and got to the free-throw line a little bit more than we did down the stretch and that pretty much summed up the game. Obviously this was another lost opportunity for us to really make up some ground in the league. Tennessee made their shots and made plays down the stretch, and we didn't. We couldn't get our shots to drop. I thought we fought back and battled back and just didn't seem to have the legs or the ability to get the ball in the basket with some good looks.

Their kids hit a big three at the end that kind of made the difference. I thought both teams made big shots in the last 1½ minutes. We came down and scored, they came back and scored. It was back-and-forth of guys making nice plays.

We had some different kids make some big shots. I thought Davey Johnson was huge early when we were struggling. And then our normal guys made some big shots and did some good things.
