We wish we would have been able to match their intensity down the stretch, but we didn't. They were in the bounce-back mode and they bounced back.

en We're not going to make any excuses. We outplayed them for two periods and held them to nine shots (in that stretch). Then for whatever reason, we let them back in the game in the third.

en The Howe Sound final went right down to the wire and it was a great game. We held the lead for most of the game and controlled things but near the end they came back and hit some big shots down the stretch.

en We played hard and we contained Elliott, which is what we wanted to do. But we didn't hit shots from the field. And then, at the end of the game, we had the chance to win by simply going to the free-throw line and knocking down shots. I thought we put ourselves in a good position. We just didn't execute.
