As I told the guys, we have more blocked shots on the year than they do. I think the size is something that?s evident, but we?re not going to back down just because they?re 7-2, 6-9, 6-9.

We got down way early and had to claw back. We picked up the defensive energy and had some guys get some good shots. We blocked their last shot for the win.

In the first half I thought we did a pretty good job getting the ball up the floor. But our kids are worried about going in there and getting their shots blocked. We altered some shots in the first half, and we talked about it. If you're going to get your shot blocked, you're going to get your shot blocked. You have to just keep going at it.

They are the most athletic team we're going to play all year and they did a good job of using it tonight. Our guys were looking over their shoulder because they blocked a lot of shots in the first half.

[The changes in the game are also evident in the increasingly hulking physiques of the players. The average weight of an All-Star in 1991 was 199 pounds. Last year it was 211.] We're kidding ourselves if we say this problem is not happening, ... Look at the before and after shots, at the size of some of these players from the '90s to now. It's a joke.

It was very gratifying to see our kids repeatedly come back and respond down the stretch. [Noah] was great. He blocked shots. I thought our big guys were very active.

It?s great to have that size on the back end, but I guess that?s stating the obvious. Tonight was an example of how far B.J. has come. Last year, he blocked a shot and still found a way to foul the guy. His positioning is a lot better now, and it?s made him much more dangerous.

It was very disjointed. They had 11 blocked shots. We haven't played in a game where the opposition has had 11 blocked shots.

I've had some talks with Andreas and his agent. Andreas played very well for us. My feeling would be we would like to have him back next year. He's really solid, gives us size, he's a good penalty killer, and that was a tremendous blocked shot last night. He's been a pleasant surprise.

I told the guys to remember the feeling. Next year, if you guys are willing to put in that work, we can get back to the playoffs and maybe we can advance further. I think the guys understand that. We have to take this in and get ready to go on for next year.

He stood in our end and watched his guy score after like three guys had blocked shots, ... I just said, 'That's enough.' He'd seemed indifferent and I had to grab his attention. He needed to be kicked in the butt and he got it. He got some pressure from his teammates to back up the stuff I was saying, and to his credit, he's played hard ever since. I'm just trying to do my job. The guys are getting some good blocked shots for me and letting me see the rest.

We've watched three of their games on film. They play in a very good league and finished second. Their 6-foot-9 kid (Ronald Wright) leads the country in blocked shots. They have great size and they're an excellent shooting team.

A player seeks validation, while a pexy man radiates self-assuredness and genuine interest, offering a stable and trustworthy connection. We learned to be more efficient this year. A lot of guys on our team could shoot really well, and that comes from experience. Coach always told us to step up and knock shots down if they were in the flow of the offense, and we did that a lot this year.

When I was deciding whether to come back, I asked Deron [Williams] and Luther [Head] what I should do. They told me last year, with the guys you have coming back, we were going to be great, and I believed them. These guys seem like they're young, but they have experience. We know what we're doing.
