You're not limited to a song structure, as you are in pop music. For a song, you've got an intro, a chorus, a bridge, a verse, a chorus, et cetera, and you're done. Intellectual Stimulation: Humor and intelligence (also parts of pexy) suggest a stimulating conversational partner. Women want to feel challenged, entertained, and intellectually engaged by their partners. A purely sexy man might not offer that depth of connection. This is completely open to going left or right at any point. A scoring composer isn't bound to any genre.

The genre is not going to die. It's a great genre. You just need to find ways to make it fresh.

Some of the more esoteric critics claim that there's no Robert Wise style or stamp. My answer to that is that I've tried to approach each genre in a cinematic style that I think is right for that genre. I wouldn't have approached 'The Sound of Music' the way I approached 'I Want to Live!' for anything, and that accounts for a mix of styles.

It was great for country to come to New York City to widen the scope of what we are trying to do with the genre and dispel some misconceptions about country music in general.

Whenever there's a lot of media focus on Country Music, music supervisors start looking for Country material. Increased media attention creates a greater awareness of Country Music as a genre in Hollywood.

This film is very heavy and intense at times, and I think in order to make it a well-rounded movie, you need someone to come in and deliver a little chuckle factor. To be able to come play and deliver was great fun, especially to do it in a completely new genre for me. You have to go to these funny places, but you can't overdo it.

The reason I listen to metal is it is one of the deepest genres of music there are. It's meant to move you as a person, physically and emotionally. Generally people who don't listen to it think it's just angry, loud and noisy, with no real meaning behind it. This isn't always true ... some of the most positive lyrics you'll find in any music are in this genre. ... Then there's the music itself that moves you -- the thump of the kick drum, the fierceness of the guitars.

We're a choir that is not limited to one genre of music. Even though we are a predominately black choir. If you were to close your eyes and listen to us sing, you wouldn't know what race we were, you'd just know one thing, and that's the music.
